Though I do admit to being a little happy about people spreading out from Twitter and everyone having a bigger variety of websites to try just like the old days.

Long story short a psychotic judge and the silicon valley wannabe asshole that owns the site are in a long standing shitfling over accounts advertising and spreading misinformation (amongst some other happenings), and it escalated into the entire site being suspended after a long list of court orders that were ignored (as in there wasn't even an attempt to contest them, just flat out ignored it).
So yeah, years and a whole lot of work down the drain until this shit blows over.
